Dashed into London to catch the last days on the Ballets Russes at the V&A, was THE best exhibition i think i’ve seen since The Last Debutants at Kensington Palace. It had so much! there was room after room on the costumes, sets, music, and the man himself. I loved all the costumes, particularly some at the end that had prints and padded sections on the clothing that were like buildings for Le Bal designed by Giorgio de Chirico
I loved the set back cloths designed by Natalia Goncharova, especially The Firebird townscape.
